I had the pleasure of creating this commission recently for the beautiful model in the painting. My best pieces are always those with a little creative freedom and I appreciated the trust from her on this one to create the gold leaf lace I envisioned. It was incredibly intricate work but so worth it! Hope I get to paint similar things soon.
